Best Areas for Urban Planning
In 2019, Bloomberg published a list of the “best places” for Urban Planners to be in the US. The list may be outdated now, but it’s still an interesting article and the patterns are likely to be similar even in 2022. The list is based on areas with the highest concentration of Urban Planners within an area. In the article linked, there’s a map that shows the metros with the highest concentration of urban planners. The map has three categories - below average number of urban planners, up to 2X the average amount of urban planners and more than 2X the average number of urban planners. Can you guess the areas with the highest concertation of planners? Well, it’s not too surprising. Here’s the top fifteen.
