The Ambiance of a City

To planners it’s no question that how a space feels has an impact. For instance, cities are made from more than just the physical aspects like the streets, cars, buildings and parks. In my experience, I remember the ambiance of the city most often than the physical aspects. It’s the sounds, how the light filters through the buildings, the smells of the restaurants (and maybe the not so great smells!).
